On May 30, we celebrated the highly anticipated Grand Opening of our newest exhibit BODYWORKS at The Children’s Museum of Virginia. This new exhibit was made possible by a generous gift from Sentara. The $700,000 gift is the single largest corporate gift the Portsmouth Museums Foundation has received to date. We are grateful for their partnership and for their continued support of our Foundation’s mission.
Special thanks to the incredible Museums team, the City of Portsmouth, the Sentara representatives, and Portsmouth Museums Foundation board members who were able to attend this exciting event. It was a group effort, and we are all so proud to present the Bodyworks exhibit which promotes getting active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
